Polish – Buff Laced, Black Crested White, Gold Laced, Silver Laced, White Crested Black – These birds are outstanding with their large crests, beards, muffs and beautiful markings, they are kept mainly for show, however they are also good layers of white eggs.
Crevecoers – This breed originates in France, it is a solid black bird with a large crest and beard; the hens lay a white egg.
Mottled Houdans – These birds originate from France; they have black plumage with white tips throughout their body.
Sultans – This breed was developed in Turkey; they are all white birds with a crest, beard, muffs, heavy feathering on legs and toes, vulture hocks and a fifth toe.
