Ringneck Pheasants (Frey’s Hatchery)
The ringneck pheasant was first introduced to North America from China in 1881. It is perhaps the most well-known game bird in the world. The male has a dark head, distinct white ring around the neck, dark red breast feathers, and varying colourful patterns on the wings, back and tail. The female is a light brown with varied darker patterns on the whole of her body.
